The Stereo Travel Company was a small company on Long Island, New York that produced mostly boxed sets. They were a "late" stereoview publisher, issuing the majority of their views after 1905. They were also known as the Globe Stereoscopic Company. Most of their work was average at best, covering general United States scenery. One of their more interesting sets was of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. They also did individual views of California and China. Coincidentally their most famous set is probably their 1912 Yellowstone Boxed Set of 100 views. What makes it so special is not so much the quality as it is the subject matter. People, buildings, coaches and camps are all featured. It is one of the great Yellowstone boxed sets in existence and a must for any Yellowstone stereoview collector.
