Very little is known about photographer, C. A. Dearborn. His studios were located in Baraboo, Wisconsin and he produced stereoviews around 1900. Among his known series were a set of views of Devils Lake, Wisconsin issued on regular sized mounts. He also did views of home life and outdoor portraits. There is some speculation that he may have been an amateur photographer, but that seems unlikely when considering the quality of his work.

His only known Yellowstone view, that of Grotto Geyser Cone, is shown below. Although it seems likely that he produced others.
